Two more stories from different sources today, regarding the impact of the proposed ObamaCare and a current poll on the public's preception of the proposed healthcare.

Frankly from my perspective, all that is needed to use what we have, is the requirement that all health insurance companies must accept applicants without regard to preexisting conditions, a schedule of services that are minimum to any plan of insurance, and a requirement for insurance companies, that employer provided insurance is portable at the end of work at no more that common rates for new applicants for insurance. Why is Congress making this so expensive?
If we need coverage for uninsured (those that elect to carry no insurance, those that cannot afford insurance, those that are unemployed), then that needs to be considered separately as welfare reform.
And any public plan of insurance must be limited to those with citizenship. Otherwise we encourage immigration, while having open physical borders.
You don't have to agree with me, but get involved. Congress is making a mess out of this.
